Tasty Holidays

Christmas really snuck up on me this year. It's taken me awhile to get into the Christmas spirit. In true Wixom fashion, it wasn't until we planned our menus that I finally started to get really, really excited. I thought I'd pass along the love.

Christmas Eve

• Duck with Swiss chard
• Spicy garlic mushrooms
• Crispy potato roast
• Thyme popovers
• Cranberry pecan salad
• Gingersnaps with pumpkin dip
• Fruit

Christmas Day

• Harold's homemade ground beef tamales
• Goat cheese tamales with olives and raisins
• Cilantro-lime rice
• Salad
• Peppermint cookies
• Eggnog ice-cream
