My friend told me this story last night and I just had to pass it on!
(Disclaimer: If you aren't Mormon, this probably won't make much sense. Sorry! I promise a more inclusive post next time.)
In her Relief Society, a heavily pregnant woman named Hope introduced herself as new in the ward. She sat down, but the woman conducting the meeting asked the poor, heavy-laden Hope to stand up again. The woman conducting then said "Hope, you remind me of my favorite song" and proceeded to sing the following: "There is Hope smiling brightly before us - And we know that deliverance is nigh!".
Fabulous! Funny! Quick-witted! I loved it. Hope this brightens your week. :)
